Alison Holder is Director of Equal Measures 2030– a multi-sectoral partnership of grassroots organizations, international NGOs and private sector which is collaboratively working to connect data and evidence with advocacy and action to achieve the SDGs for girls and women.
Previously, Alison was Associate Director at Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN, an initiative of the UN), Director of Policy, Advocacy and Campaigns at Action Aid UK (leading work on a range of issues including violence against women and girls, women’s economic empowerment, tax justice, and inequality), Tax and Inequality Policy Manager at Oxfam and Head of Governance & Rights at Save the Children UK.
Alison has over 15 years’ experience working in the international development and private sectors, including working on livelihoods projects for women in India, SME development in South Africa, corporate social responsibility and business strategy at Accenture, and business and human rights. She has an MSc in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and a first degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario in Canada.
