Doug Stockham is the president and co-founder of Emergency Assistance Foundation (EAF), the oldest and largest standalone charity designed solely to administer global disaster and hardship relief funds, thereby providing grants to individuals in need around the world. At EAF’s founding, Doug completed an in-depth assessment of more than 100 independent relief funds to create a set of industry best practices and benchmarks, which have been published and discussed in various white papers and blogs. EAF now administers 300+ funds around the world, serving over 10 million individuals across six continents. In 2020 alone, EAF awarded more than $100 million in grants, providing assistance to over 175,000 grant recipients.
