Francisco Lopez is a mission-driven grants leader with more than 14 years of experience in designing, managing, and optimizing large-scale grantmaking programs. Before joining Blackbaud, he led national education grant portfolios at the US Department of Education, overseeing $400M+ in awards and driving capability improvements that strengthened workflows, program outcomes, and stakeholder engagement.

He holds a master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from the University of Texas at Austin. Francisco is known for his collaborative leadership style, his curiosity for emerging technology, and his commitment to improving the way mission-based organizations deliver impact. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, cooking, and flying his drones at sunset.
