Jessica Kansas

Jessica Kansas is director of development for clinical engagement at the Albany Med Foundation in New York, where she oversees the grateful patient program. She also carries a portfolio of alumni from Albany Medical College and covers the Western New York region as well as the Southeast and the Washington, DC metro area.

Before joining the Albany Med Foundation, Jessica was a leadership gift officer at Skidmore College, a highly ranked, residential, private liberal arts college in Saratoga Springs, New York. The experience and skills she has gained during her 20-year career in fundraising provided the insight needed to maintain and eventually grow the momentum of Albany Med’s grateful patient program.

Jessica earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing degree from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. In addition to her work at Albany Med, Jessica serves on two local boards – Friends of Bethlehem Parks and Recreation and Friends of the Bethlehem Public Library – to offer guidance and expertise specific to fundraising. She lives in Bethlehem, New York with her husband George and their two daughters, Helen and Sophia.
