Ray Borkman is a Senior Demand Generation Marketing Manager at Blackbaud, aligned to fundraising and the company’s Agents for Good™ pillar. Ray believes in the power of technology—and increasingly, agentic AI—to help nonprofits deepen donor relationships, accelerate fundraising impact, and advance social good at scale. He is passionate about connecting innovative solutions with the real-world challenges nonprofit professionals face every day.
Ray is inspired by his wife, April, a nonprofit lifer and Program Director for a tuberculosis research study at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. In his free time, Ray enjoys playing with their cat, Juan “Bertie” Humberto, attending College of Charleston (his alma mater) basketball games, and serving as a founding board member of a local nonprofit, Grief Cycles.
