Senior Associate Director of Advancement Services at Emma Willard School
Rochelle Toomer is the Senior Associate Director of Advancement Services at Emma Willard School in Troy, NY. She graduated with a degree in Computer Information Systems in 2003 and fell in love with the nonprofit sector, where she found her niche implementing and managing various data systems. In 2010, she began her career in development after joining the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany as a Database Administrator. There, she oversaw fundraising operations for the $7.5 million annual fund and, in 2017, helped the Diocese plan for and launch the Re-Igniting Our Faith capital campaign. Rochelle has held a professional-level Blackbaud certification for The Raiser’s Edge since 2016. Prior roles also include Database Administrator for Catholic Charities, Database Consultant for Albany Diocesan Catholic Schools, as well as ongoing consulting and volunteer work with local nonprofits.
Rochelle loves listening to podcasts, scripting with APIs in Power Automate, and when she needs a data break, she enjoys baking and working on her various art projects. Rochelle lives in Upstate NY with her husband Matt, their two sons, and their Siberian Husky, Arkham.
