Sally Heaven

Co-founder of fundraising consulting firm, Raise HECK, Sally cut her teeth protecting the world from bad guys: right out of college she became a field director for the Human Rights Campaign. Emceeing rallies in front of hundreds of people over the next seven years, she built a core ability to speak the truth (even when nervous). After HRC, Sally spent 13 years as an account manager at Blackbaud, where she oversaw the needs of some of the largest nonprofit brands in the world, including The Nature Conservancy and AARP. Sally understands how to advocate for others. She’s not afraid of tough conversations, and she brings her ability to see the humor in life to every interaction. Outside of work, Sally enjoys life in Maryland with her wife and three kids.
