Melissa is a Principal Program Manager at Blackbaud and a Certified Root Cause Analyst with more than 25 years of experience in the nonprofit, higher education, corporate training, business management, and marketing spheres. Her education and business backgrounds provide a unique view of our customers, products, verticals, and users.
Melissa’s passions revolve around family, exquisite training design, lifelong learning, and project management. She loves tackling new projects and developing and refining processes. She has written and presented multiple thought-leadership pieces on everything from change management best practices and internal controls and compliance to arts & cultural patron engagement, nonprofit donor retention, and student and alum engagement. Melissa earned her MBA at Western Michigan University.
