Functional Sales Executive, Blackbaud

Susan Smith recently joined Blackbaud as a Functional Sales Executive after retiring as the Chief Operating Officer of the University of South Carolina Foundations after 24 years. A CPA, certified in the State of SC, she began her career at the SC Comptroller General’s Office before moving to the USC Foundations office. She has worked with many religious, civic, and cultural organizations to implement and maintain accounting solutions as well as developing and implementing operational policies and procedures. She holds the Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designations and has presented at several national non-profit conferences on various topics including information systems.
