Austin Ewachiw

Director of Technology at Calvert Hall College High School

Austin Ewachiw (pronounced EE-Wok-Que) is the Director of Technology at Calvert Hall College High School, his alma mater. He returned to Calvert in 2006 when the school’s digital infrastructure needs were rapidly evolving. Recognizing his colleagues' challenges with disparate, disconnected software, Austin became the project lead for the school’s adoption of Blackbaud’s Total School Solution, which consolidated education, fundraising, and accounting systems across campus. Austin’s team is now responsible for all data management, cyber security, software integrations, and digital compliance at the school.

Austin has a BS in Mathematics and a minor in Philosophy and completed graduate-level educational technology coursework at Loyola University Maryland. Before joining Calvert Hall, Austin was a Network Engineer in Washington, D.C., and Hunt Valley, Maryland.
